The group photo was taken in front of the original music building, which is still standing and has a Kirkpatrick Fine Arts Center sign in front of it presently. Note: the back of the photo has “Oklahoma City University Football Team” written on the back; however, it is really the “O” Club.
This is a tiny version of a well known 1927 New York Yankees team photo. It measures 3 1/8″ by 1 7/8″. I sent it to PSA to be authenticated. They returned it as a forgery. The letter made me laugh. It might be an old unauthorized reprint but this tiny photo is OLD. PSA is well documented for making errors all the time. Nobody was making “forgeries” of this old photo. The photo is grainy/blurry. Hopefully somebody in the baseball collecting world knows the origin of this photo. Forgery involved an intent to defraud. The is an actual copy of a well known 1927 photo. I am selling this photo as an old REPRINT.
